Why Siam Sage

What Makes Our Approach Different

We shaped every part of these courses around the needs and questions that come up in midlife — not around financial theory.

Plain Language, Always

Every lesson uses words you already know. We explain terms as they come up, and we never assume you've read a finance textbook.

Small Groups

Sessions are kept deliberately small so there's space to ask questions without feeling rushed or self-conscious.

Thailand Context

Banking, savings, and planning topics are grounded in the Thai financial landscape — relevant, local, and practical.

No Rush, No Pressure

Our courses move at a pace that respects your life. There are no deadlines and no pressure to move faster than feels comfortable.

Materials You Keep

Each programme includes printed guides, notebooks, or folders so you have something to refer back to long after the sessions end.

Education, Not Advice

We build your understanding clearly. For any personal financial decisions, we encourage you to speak with a licensed professional — and we help you know what questions to ask.

Questions

Things People Often Ask

A few questions we hear often. If yours isn't here, please feel free to write to us.

Do I need any financial background to join a course?
Not at all. Each course begins from scratch and explains every idea as it comes up. The introductory course, Letting the Light In, is specifically designed for people who are new to thinking about their finances more carefully.
Are the sessions in person or online?
Our main sessions take place in Phuket. Some course materials — such as recorded lessons in A Clear View Ahead — can be accessed online so you can revisit them in your own time.
Will you be giving me financial advice about what to do with my money?
No — and we want to be clear about that from the start. Siam Sage provides financial education, not personal financial advice. We help you understand how things work and what questions to ask. For decisions about your specific situation, we encourage you to speak with a licensed financial professional.
How many people are in each group?
We keep groups small — usually between four and eight people — so there's room to ask questions and go at a pace that suits everyone.
What's the difference between the three courses?
Letting the Light In is a short, simple start — three sessions covering the basics. A Clear View Ahead builds on that over six weeks, looking at saving and planning options. The Wide Horizon Programme is the most complete at ten weeks, focusing on longer-term planning, retirement, and family security. You don't need to have done the earlier courses to join a later one.
What is the fee, and how do I pay?
Fees are ฿4,400 for Letting the Light In, ฿6,600 for A Clear View Ahead, and ฿10,000 for The Wide Horizon Programme. Payment details are shared when you enquire. We accept Thai bank transfer and will confirm availability before any payment is due.
